Who is this guy?

As a kid, Chris bonded with his father through their mutual love of photography while his mom passed on her fierce sense of loyalty and strong work ethic.

While in high school, Chris got a job delivering newspapers for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel where they gave him an award for customer service. He was a paperboy until his senior year of high school when he went to the neighborhood Sherwin Williams and got a job as the stock boy. He worked there for several years before moving to a different paint company, then a third, gathering customer service awards and plaques along the way. These jobs informed his strong sense of empathy for people as well as a knack for color and composition.

He didn’t know yet that photography was his true calling but discovered it after he joined a photography group and was asked to be a second shooter at a wedding. He was more than happy to oblige and the rest is history.

He has two amazing daughters, a 6 year old and a 15 year old, and has lived his own amazing love story of lost and re-found love with his wife of 8 years who he calls his rock. Together they like to travel to uncover hidden gems in the south, which includes the search for the perfect Bourbon.

For work, Chris enjoys traveling the Gulf Coast from Louisiana and Lower Alabama to Southern Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle capturing the special spirit of a southern wedding. He also enjoys discovering other locales and different traditions in his work but whatever the venue, his favorite weddings are those that are truly personal to the bride and groom. His philosophy and advice to couples is “follow your heart and do what makes sense to you. It’s love and family that make the best weddings and the best marriages.”

He’s won awards for his photography and is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (WPP) and the Wedding and Portrait Photography International (WPPI).
